When using this method, the pet owner contacts the company and makes an appointment for the pet to be picked-up from their home or veterinarian's office. The client may also schedule a time to bring the pet to the cremation service himself or herself. All payments are made directly to the company arranging and performing the pet cremation.
The pet owner may be present for the cremation and at that time the cremation will take place immediately upon arrival. The pet owner may also choose to not stay for the cremation and return later to pick up the cremated remains. When a client is not present for the private cremation of their pet, a video certification of the cremation will be made and available to the client. The pet's body should be picked up within four hours of notification of request for private cremation. The transport of your pet should be provided in a clearly marked company vehicle. Your pet's body should be placed into an exclusive transport shroud (not a garbage bag) then placed on a stretcher and secured for the trip to the cremation service. All cremations should take place within 12 hours of picking up the pet's body. (If client is not present, a video certification of private cremation will be provided to the family.) At the completion of the private pet cremation, the cremated remains will be completely removed from the cremation chamber, and processed for placement into an urn. At this time, the client will be able to take their pet’s cremated remains home if they were present for the cremation. If the client is not present, they will be notified that the cremated remains are available for pick up at our office or for delivery back to their home.
